Q: How do I create a cup?
A: In order to create a cup, you have to be a registered member on the site.
Just click "sign up" to become a member.
Then you can create your own cups by clicking "create cup" and filling in all the information you need.
Q: Do I need to be a registered member in order to participate in a cup?
A: No.
Just when you're going to create a cup.
Q: How do I gather all the teams participating? Where do they all meet?
A: At IRC.
#playpark and other IRC-channels owned by us are NOT to be used for your cups.
We might use #playpark and similiar for our own cups, however.
You will have to use your own IRC-channels to gather the teams.
#playpark is only to be used for issues/questions/complimentaries regarding the cup-site.
Whenever you create a cup, an IRC-channel is required.
Q: Will I ever have to pay for using playpark?
A: Definitely NO.
We will never charge you anything.
playpark is a non-profit organization.
Q: How does the seed function work?
A: Seeding is only available for group-play cups. You don't have to seed every team. In many situations you only want three or four teams seeded. Just fill in the seeds for these teams and leave the rest blank and a proper group generation will be made.
Q: How does the SmartCode function work?
A: Whenever you apply to a cup with the SmartCode function activated, you recieve a code. With this code you can select if you accept HLTV demo instead of in-eye demo and also fill in the HLTV of a specific match. To do this, simply click on the match you'd like to change settings for, enter your code and press enter.
Q: How do I remove my cup?
A: On the info-page of your cup, right next to the misc info form, there's a question: "Do you want to delete your cup? If so; click here". Simply click "here", verify your action and your cup will be deleted.
